Monadnock Ledger-Transcript - Wilton to hold COVID-19 vaccination clinic

Wilton has been offered the opportunity to host a local clinic to provide doses of the COVID-19 vaccination within the next few weeks.
In partnership with the City of Nashua Department of Health and Welfare, Wilton is planning to hold a clinic designed to assist residents who struggle to be able to access vaccination sites in larger cities like Keene and Nashua, or are housebound or lacking reliable transportation.
Wilton Ambulance Director Sherry Miller said the clinic provides a local alternative for residents who have yet to get their vaccinations.
“If they can get it done here, it’s much easier than getting it done in Nashua or Keene,” Miller said. “There could be several people that are homebound and don’t have transportation, and it’s much easier to get a ride downtown for 15 minutes, than several hours to Nashua.”
