KGS receives national funding to preserve Kentucky's critical mineral collections
The Kentucky Geological Survey (KGS), will preserve and increase access to mineral cores from western and southcentral Kentucky through Save America’s Treasures, a National Park Service grant program in collaboration with the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
