Acknowledging the GPS issue that’s present within the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF20 tablet, the Taiwan-based manufacturer is now offering a refund or extended warranties for all faulty devices in the UK. In addition to this, the recently announced TF700 variant is expected to hit the country sometime after June, 2012.
Currently being supplied to the UK, this particular tablet model doesn’t seem to have any known Wi-Fi issues. However, users facing problems with its GPS module can return the device back to the manufacturer. And based on the standard consumer rights applicable, a full refund is likely to be provided on all faulty purchases. Besides this, the company is offering users an extended warranty period of an additional 6 months for those who wish to keep the tablet. ....

Google revealed a new Android tablet experience called Entertainment Space in May of 2021. This new experience – a new home screen replacement of sorts – is a different approach to Android. It’s difficult to see what they presented with Entertainment Space without thinking about Amazon’s series of Fire Tablet devices and their take on Android. The software, as Google showed it on May 5, 2021, centers on Google-hosted media – everything from the Google Play app store, books store, videos, shows, and games.
Google will benefit from a new sort of angle on Android for tablets. It’s a good idea, really. The current state of Android on Android tablets isn’t really all that different from Android on Android smartphones. They’re just bigger. ....
