HANNIBAL — Students from Holy Family Catholic School and Stowell Elementary School teamed up on Friday to help plant a swamp white oak tree with representatives from the Hannibal Tree Board, Hannibal Parks and Recreation and the Missouri Department of Conservation. HANNIBAL — Work continues on the Hannibal riverfront. “We have a lot of things going on right now with the riverfront,” said Andy Dorian, the city of Hannibal’s director of central services, during the April meeting of the Hannibal Park Board in council chambers at Hannibal City Hall. HANNIBAL — Rainbow trout will again be added to the pond in Huckleberry Park next year. The announcement was made by Andy Dorian, Hannibal’s director of central services, during the March meeting of the Hannibal Park Board. “The trout fishing has been wildly popular,” Dorian told the park board members. “People kept sending me pictures of themselves catching the limits. HANNIBAL — Several years ago the Hannibal Board of Public Works contemplated building a solar farm on some open land at Hannibal Regional Airport.
