to honor woody williams, the last surviving medal of honor recipient from world war ii, our link to the greatest generation. many who were present were members of our military. it was very exciting. this man was 5'6", 135 pounds, and yet he fought and fought and fought, took on six enemy installations and won the medal of honor. and single-handedly destroyed enemy positions. an admiral praised his heroism by saying uncommon valor was a common virtue at iwo jima. if you have a moment, you might want to go pay your respects to him. he is lying in state in the capital. so this has been ...
