Neighborhood in hayward. A dorm near there was put on lockdown. Whats the situation right now . Reporter thats right, jessica. That lockdown at the dorm was brief and is over, but this neighborhood near campus is still on lockdown. Take a look. You can see police with rifles out here at second street, not allowing people to go home. A helicopter has been up most of the night shining a light near the campus searching tor a suspect called armed and dangerous. The incident started with a shooting around 5 00. Cal state east bay briefly put the dorms on lockdown, it is lifted. They arrested two suspected related to the shooting but a third got away. Police chased the suspect on high land boulevard. Cops were out with guns drawn, and my wife was out with the kid and told them get inside. Reporter the suspect led police into a canyon. Police set up a perimeter around that canyon, then at 7 00, Fremont Police tweeted an officer was invol ....
