you can remain anonymous and, remember that $500,000 reward. bret? >> bret: david spunt, thanks. ♪ >> bret: breaking tonight, we're just getting word in the past five minutes five teenagers have been shot in green belt, maryland today. there were hundreds of students there apparently gathered in the afternoon for a senior skip day and a water gun fight. the green belt police chief is saying there were at least 500 to 600 high schoolers present when officers arrived at the park. five teens, ages between 16 and 18 were discovered, suffered from gunshot wounds. all of the students heard the gunshots ring out as you are looking at video there. detectives currently believe the suspect fled the park as the large group ran off into hanover parkway. we will continue to monitor. this again, five shot in green belt, maryland. up next chaos.

good day, everyone. i'm andrea mitchell in washington. jury selection in donald trump's first criminal trial is forging ahead despite this morning's setback. no new jurors have been selected today. one who was seated tuesday has been removed. the nurse raising concerns after friends and colleagues questioned her identity as a juror and whether she could be identified by details that have been disclosed in court. that led the judge to redact all employment information, previous employment information from official transcripts and instruct the media to use common sense attempting to keep any identifying characteristics about the juror anonymous. there are concerns with another juror, the i.t. consultant, that prosecutors say the man might have lied on the questionnaire after their research uncovered an arrest report from the 1990s. he just arrived in court where he told the judge he is annoyed about how much information is out in public about him.

couldn't stay anonymous or stay fair after details about her identity were made public. juror number four, an i.t. consultant apparently hid details about previous brushes with the law. all of this burning time and moving selection backwards, with just five jurors now in place and 13 more still needed. so far today, more than half of the initial pool of 96 prospective jurors have been dismissed after saying they can't be fair. that includes one woman who spoke to my colleague yasmin vossoughian who's not sure it's even possible to pick an impartial jury. >> i'm not sure about that. >> really? why? >> you know, everybody has biases and, you know, stereotypes in their mind. so you have to be a really, you know, deep and fair person, which is very hard to do, right? >> yeah. >> in order to serve as a juror. i hope they do. i mean, this is justice, right?
