If you look all the way through the campaign, the Opinion Polls were always in sadiq khans favour and evenif always in sadiq khans favour and even if you remember that the results didnt actually get started counting until this morning, so any speculation was really wildly off the mark so counting started this morning but as soon as the first results came in, it was very clear that sadiq khan was looking in a pretty good place because he had already proved in the first two boroughs that he was capable of attracting more votes to the labour party than he did last time.
