ISLAMABAD:
Prime Minister Imran Khan was on Thursday informed that with 82,728 Roshan Digital Accounts opened so far in 97 countries of different continents by the overseas Pakistanis, an amount of $436 million had been remitted and paid under the facility.
He was further informed that as 600 to 700 accounts were being opened on a daily basis, Pakistani expatriates were remitting around $6 to $7 million per day.
The prime minister was presiding over a meeting to review progress on the provision of facilities made available for the overseas Pakistanis under the Roshan Digital Account.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has chaired a review meeting on Ravi Urban Development Authority and Central Business District projects in Islamabad on Thursday.
The meeting was attended by Sindh Governor Imran Ismael, Chairman Naya Pakistan Housing Authority Lt General (R) Anwar Ali Hayder, Chairman Ravi Urban Development Authority Rashid Aziz and others.
The participants were given a detailed briefing on the latest progress on these projects. It was told that request for proposals from two companies have so far been received for Ravi city project.
The project will be equally beneficial for federal as well as provincial governments.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed to take measures on emergency basis to end fraud with the people, especially exploitation of overseas Pakistanis, in illegal housing projects and constructions.
Chairing weekly meeting of the National Coordination Committee for Housing, Construction and Development in Islamabad on Thursday, he said a common man is deprived of his life-long earnings through these illegal housing schemes, which needs to be stopped immediately.
The Prime Minister said protection of citizens  interest, especially the poor, in construction activities is top priority of the government.
