The sentencing of thernos founder Elizabeth Holmes underway. She is facing up to 20 years for defrauding patients and investors in her failed blood testing startup. Her lawyers are pushing for a lighter sentence of 18 months house arrest partly due to her pregnancy and home life. They submitted more than 100 letters of support from family and friends. A lot of times people who we view as monsters are still human beings to other people. Right . She may have caused a lot of harm. She may have ruined a number of lives but she is still a daughter, a mother, a wife, and a friend to a lot of people....
