A growing number of colleges and universities throughout the United States are requiring that students receive the COVID-19 vaccine to attend in-person classes and, in some cases, to even participate in any on-campus activities. The New York Times reported on Thursday that more than 100 institutions of higher education will require students to receive coronavirus vaccines in order to attend in-person classes in the fall. This week, the Massachusetts State University system joined that growing number of colleges and universities across the country. The presidents of the nine universities in the system unanimously decided to require undergraduate and graduate students who are attending in-person classes, conducting research on campus, living in residence halls or participating in campus life activities to become fully vaccinated prior to the start of fall classes. ....
