Filipino-made indie Flash games have been selected by the curators of BlueMaxima’s Flashpoint webgame preservation project as the end of life of Adobe Flash became effective end of 2020.
Khail Santia, one of the Filipino developers whose game was included in the preservation project, said the end of support for Flash felt “like the end of an era”.
“To us developers, Flash was more than just a piece of technology. It’s a medium of independent self-expression, a laboratory for innovation, a passion, a livelihood, and a community,” Santia said in an email. ....
