CARDIFF, WALES - DECEMBER 23: Members of the military sit through an induction process at Maindy Barracks on December 23, 2020 in Cardiff, Wales. The Welsh Ambulance Service has called on the army to help as it deals with acute pressure on its service. More than 90 soldiers will be drafted in from today to help drive their emergency vehicles as the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic continues to take hold on the NHS. Members of the 9th Regiment Royal Logistic Corps, 1st Armoured Medical Regiment, RAMC (Royal Army Medical Corps) and the 4th and 5th Armoured Medical Regiment will provide assistance. Wales has had more Covid-19 cases in the last seven days relative to its population than any other country in the world except Lithuania. (Photo by Matthew Horwood/Getty Images) ....
