DVIDS - News - Air Defense Artillery Battalion Welcomes New Commander

Lt. Col. Tina Madovoy, assumed command of 1st Battalion, 265th Air Defense Artillery Regiment,164th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, from outgoing commander, Lt. Col. Robert C. Bellomo, during a Change of Command Ceremony at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center, Fla., Friday April 30, 2021.
The 1-265th is “a cohesive and combat-ready battalion of air defenders,” said Col. Sean T. Boyette, commander of the 164th ADA BDE, while commending Bellomo for his leadership. “Your leadership has provided them with the experience required to protect our State and Nation.”
It is no doubt Madovoy is assuming command of a truly experienced battalion. Soldiers with 1-265th ADA BN have honed their air defense skills through extensive training and an arduous operational schedule.
