Artist/curator returns to found collective

Back from a six-month stint as curator of Kelowna's Alternator Gallery, Chris Bose is keen to put his experiences to work in the community.
A multidisciplinary visual artist, poet and musician, Bose hopes to bring a similar eclecticism to the Arbour Aboriginal Artists Collective. He has just formed the group and invites members and directors to join the initiative.
"The vision is to create opportunities for emerging and even established aboriginal artists an all artistic genres," said Bose, who has N'laka'pamux and Secwepemc heritage.
"I've been on the road for like 21/2 years, especially writing, but with the whole gamut. I thought, 'It's time for me to go home and share this in the community.' "
