North Caldwell council tables ordinances on stop sign, meeting rules
The meeting was held online because of the coronavirus pandemic. Because it was the last regular meeting of the year, the proposed ordinances would have to be introduced again in 2021. One of those tabled would have removed a stop sign at the intersection of Beachmont Terrace and Hamilton Drive East. The stop sign was approved in 2018 to try to slow speeding on Beachmont near Grandview School.
