A Field Museum exhibit highlighting the heritage of the Calumet region, and the last in a series of four stops, will come to a close this fall.
The museum was founded in 1916, when the Porter County Historical Society gathered artifacts from all 12 townships to display as part of Indiana’s centennial celebration.
"A Calumet Tapestry: Artistic Views of the Region" is now on display at 20 Indiana Avenue at the southwest corner of Indiana Avenue and Franklin Street in downtown Valparaiso.
