Person struck by train at Shawmut; shuttle buses now in use between JFK-UMass and Ashmont
A 14-year-old Boston Latin School student was struck by a moving train at Shawmut station on Wednesday afternoon. According to MBTA Transit Police Superintendent Richard Sullivan, the male victim is alive and talking, but was in serious condition after he was rushed by Boston EMS to Boston Children's Hospital.
