Taking aim at the state of florida. Residents are now being urged by authorities to shelter in place. Milton is projected to be a category three storm when it makes landfall. Forecasters say it s currently on track for the city of sarasota. The city of tampa is also near the path of the storm. Here s a live look now. This is fort myers beach in florida, you can see those powerful winds and lots of rain already striking the close there, and very large waves as well napping across the beach, you can see how windy it is. This storm expected to bring it s bringing winds of up to 120 miles per hour that s more than 193 kilometres per hour. And it comes only about two weeks after hurricane helene struck the state. Many cities in florida have not yet finished the clean up from that storm.
