Dozens gathered at Loveland Burial Park on Monday morning for a solemn tribute to men and women who gave their lives while serving in the U.S. armed forces.
This weekend, veterans groups across Northern Colorado will gather for Memorial Day ceremonies and events to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
Saturday was the fifth year that Loveland residents have participated in Wreaths Across America, placing wreaths on veterans graves at Loveland Burial Park and Lakeside Cemetery.
No one is quite sure when Ann Jenson first started serving free meals on Thanksgiving, but on Thursday, the volunteers at the Associated Veterans of Loveland club were only too happy to set aside their own traditions to carry on hers.
