Construction of Russia's MBIR multipurpose sodium-cooled fast neutron research reactor was 8% ahead of schedule at the end of 2021 and is now expected to be completed in 2027, one year earlier than previously planned.
Atommash performed a test assembly of elements for the multi-purpose sodium-cooled fast neutron research reactor being built in Dimitrovgrad. The six pieces of equipment involved in the test at the Volgodonsk branch of AEM technologies had a combined weight of 164 tonnes.
