Severe beach erosion from late-season Hurricanes Ian and Nicole has helped uncover what appears to be a wooden ship dating from the 1800s on Florida's East Coast
The wooden structure is between 80 and 100 feet long and was found in front of homes that collapsed on Daytona Beach Shores last month from Hurricane Nicole.
Tropical Storms Ian and Nicole uncovered an 1800s shipwreck on the beach where it was first discovered in 1987.
Beachgoers and lifeguards discovered the wooden structure poking out of the sand over Thanksgiving weekend in front of homes that collapsed on Daytona Beach Shores last month from Hurricane Nicole,
