Humans cannot be equated with god: Naidu

Unfortunate to reinstate a person who made baseless charges, says TDP chief
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president N. Chandrababu Naidu said that a human will always remain a human and can never become a god. It is wrong to presume that he is above or equal to the Almighty or himself is a god.
His statement assumes significance in the backdrop of the former Tirumala chief priest A.V. Ramana Deekshitulu purportedly characterising Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy as another incarnation of Lord Maha Vishnu, a couple of days back at Tadepalli near Vijayawada.
In another apparent dig at Mr. Deekshitulu, he said it was unfortunate to reinstate a person who had levelled baseless allegations with regard to the loss of pink diamond.

Sunil Deodhar’s tweet against the chief priest goes viral
Tirumala chief priest A.V. Ramana Deekshitulu was at the butt of severe criticism by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for his alleged recent comment equating Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy with Lord Vishnu.
In his tweet that has gone viral, BJP’s State co-in-charge Sunil Deodhar accused Deekshitulu of having ‘insulted the God Himself’. The tweet said: “Ramana Dikshithulu, by calling an On-Bail CM (who breeds pastors that call God Balaji a Saitan) an incarnation of Vishnu, you’ve insulted the God himself & crores of his devotees. With your boot licking of an anti-Hindu family, you removed sanctity of Pradhan Archak post in TTD”. Mr. Deodhar also added an undated photo of the Chief Minister getting blessings at a church, along with that of the chief priest. Though the tweet got over 1000 likes and 500 retweets within an hour, it nevertheless incurred the wrath of the twitterati for bordering on personal vilification.

A.V. Ramana Deekshitulu, after being reinstated as the chief priest of Tirumala temple following the YCP government’s decision to induct retired priests of Mirasi families, equated the act to saving of Dharma by Lord Vishnu. He indirectly hailed Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy as one among the Trimurthis keen to protect Dharma.
“Whenever there is threat to Dharma, Lord Vishnu takes birth to protect it,” Deekshitulu said. He thanked Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and TTD chairman Y.V. Subba Reddy on behalf of all the hereditary priests, who were inducted back into the TTD fold.

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) on Friday issued orders restoring the positions of all retired archakas (priests) held by them prior to their retirement in 2018.
The orders are considered a sequel to the judgment pronounced by the A.P. High Court in December 2018 while dealing with a writ petition filed by the archakas. Following the orders, speculations are rife that the orders will pave way for A.V. Ramana Deekshitulu to regain his lost position as the chief priest of the hill temple.
It was in May 2018 that the TTD board unanimously passed a resolution retiring all the archakas who had attained the age of 65. Subsequently, several senior priests, including Ramana Deekshitulu, Narasimha Deekshitulu, Srinivasa Murthy Deekshitulu and Narayana Deekshitulu, belonging to erstwhile mirasidar families were forced to retire.
