Newcastle International Airport saw their first flights to Portugal take flight yesterday following the news the country has been added to the government’s ‘green list’. Up to 16 flights per week are set to fly to Portugal from the airport throughout the summer following the news that travellers will not need to quarantine on their return to the UK.
