First announced at WWDC 2023 as an iOS 17 feature, AirPlay for hotel rooms was delayed until 2024, but is now rolling out in select IHG hotels in the US, Canada, and Mexico.
“For the past two years we’ve been working on the environmental impact report, we published the draft in July this past year and now we’re down to the final public hearings on the project,” said Monterey Community Development Director Kim Cole.
The hotel industry was “on the brink of collapse” early in the coronavirus pandemic, the American Hotel and Lodging Association said in May 2020.
