We're supposed to be on the back deck by 4am to start the process of loading up and everything. so, it's not very often i wake up this early but it seems worth it for today. i was pretty grumpy waking up at 3:30, but when i think about the passengers who might�*ve also have woken up really early to catch their horse and carriage, or whatever, to take them to the dock, it made me feel like a kinship with them and also kind of grounded me in what i was doing.
