Ed Bethel dies at 82 - The Nassau Guardian

Eldred “Ed” Bethel, whose career in broadcasting spanned decades, stretching back to pre-independence, and who became a highly regarded Bahamian diplomat, died at his Nassau home yesterday evening after a two-year fight with lung cancer, his family confirmed. He was 82. “He was humble, loving and a true Bahamian,” said his daughter, Lisa Bellot. “He
