An exhibition of artist Corban Walker's new art work

Dublin City Council’s City Architect is pleased to announce the launch of an exhibition of artist Corban Walker’s artwork ‘What do you need?’ in Diamond Square, 7 Gardiner Street Lower, Dublin 1, from 24th June to 15th July 2021. The opening of the exhibition will be marked by a panel discussion on Thursday 24th June from 6.30pm to 7:30pm.
The theme of the piece is ‘What do you need?’ What do you need in a home to sustain you through the many stages of your life? What do you need in a neighbourhood? Are we designing and building homes in Dublin that meet your needs? Dublin artist, Walker explores minimal home size standards over the last 100 years and the consequences of policy direction minimising sizes for affordability, density or other reasons - as exemplified by the recent policy around co-living shared accommodation. ....
