Local News Briefs AAA Region 9 offering HEAP CAMBRIDGE - The Area Agency on Aging Region 9 via the Ohio Development Services Agency is offering a Home Energy Assistance Program for those at or below 175 percent of the federal poverty guidelines for payment of heating bills. Applications will be accepted through May 31 and benefits can be applied to heating bills after Jan. 1. Applications and more information are available at energyhelp.ohio.gov. One must provide most recent utility bills, list of household members, proof of income and citizenship and proof of disability if applicable.
