vote. i will say get mad and vote. we re going to do what we can, but in the end, this is about november. we ve got to elect pro-choice legislators, governors, supreme court judges. we need to show the american people that when they give the democratic party and actually do vote for us, that we will be using and we are willing to use the power that they do give us in order to merit increased expansions in our majority. the supreme court overturning roe v. wade shifts a lot of the action to the states and right now, abortion is banned in nine states already via trigger laws. in at least 12 more states, the limit of ban of abortion could be in place in weeks to come. there are also a flurry of lawsuits. today in florida, there s a hearing for abortion rights groups asking for an injunction to stop the ban replacing its current 24-week ban. in ohio, plans parenthood trying to file a suit. more action as well in california. in michigan. we ve gotten this warning from ....

I m speculating just like barbara and matthew are, but my thought is perhaps because of the compelling testimony from some of the republicans last week, republicans who were on the front line of defense in some key states like arizona that perhaps more witnesses have decided to come forward and share their testimony and perhaps went to the committee and said i was inspired by bauers. by some of these witnesses who testified last week. i want to tell my story, what i went through and what i know. we re speculating here, but to the point you mentioned, chris, there s got to be something extremely compelling because for them to do this within 100 hours after roe being overturned knowing there s going to be a competitive news cycle, i have to think there s going to be something big coming tomorrow. i just think if you re going to do this, it s got to be somebody with direct knowledge or somebody that really does add significant new information to things that have already been testified t ....

Out from underneath everybody in their medical care. barbara, adrian, matthew, being with us for the breaking news. thank you all very much. and we are going to have more on the far reaching consequences of the supreme court decision but i also want to remind folks of the breaking news, and we re continuing to see if more information comes in, but i want to read to you what the announcement was from the january 6th committee. they are going to hold a hearing tomorrow, 1:00 eastern time. they say recently obtained evidence and witness testimony has made them decide to call this new hearing. again, tomorrow, 1:00 in this hour. and then when we come back, we re going to talk about why the head of latino outreach for the republican party says they will be leaving abortion out of their messaging to voters ahead of november. and the immediate change that could come to georgia s laws. i ll talk to a state senator who made her private pain very public to try to fight georgia s heart beat law ....

Drugs is going to have to be worked out by the courts. thank you for that. barbara, i want to touch on one more thing that i think has gotten a lot of attention and that is what happens if a woman who s living a state where abortions are illegal, travels to a state like new york where it is legal. we know places like new york are preparing for lack of a better term, they ve called them abortion refugees, but is there a possibility that there could be trouble in their home state? i think there could. right now, we don t have these laws explicitly on the books. that would be one way for a state to do it is say it s illegal to travel out of state for an abortion. anyone who helps somebody could be guilty of a conspiracy to help someone violate the law or could be seen as aiding and abetting that person in violating the law. so i think it is not risk free even now. that is just part of the chaos that results when you have a decision like we had on friday that just pulls the rug right ....

You wouldn t change this. it may be, just speculating, that they had been pursuing a witness that was going to help fill in the blanks on some previous things. they got the witness with some evidence they hadn t been able to obtain. they nailed it down. they want to get this out. you couple with the suddenness, changing the schedule. along with the fact we re in the midst of this roe versus wade debate, they must have something they think is of great import to get out before this weekend. we don t want to do too much random speculation here, but barbara, there isn t a lot we know. give us a list. where are the gaps that we ve been looking potentially for the committee to fill or even some of the people that we know the committee has been hoping to hear from or at least be able to depose publicly? well, some of the things we ve been hearing about with these documentary film makers who were with donald trump in the days leading up to the ....
