This letter is to express my support and appreciation to the board of London Health Sciences Centre for their decisive action in terminating Paul Woods. I do not forget that their initial decision was to accept his apology and keep him.
I hope they have learned about their responsibility to do the right thing even when no one is watching.
While Woods will be paid according to the terms of his contract, any alleged loss of reputation is entirely his own doing.
I believe Woods lost the confidence, not only of every employee of LHSC, but also most of the people served by the hospital and indeed the whole province. ....

No indoor gatherings are allowed with anyone outside a person’s household the people they live with– means no indoor gatherings. What don’t people understand? Having a board meeting with people who are not in your immediate family should never be considered.
As a person who has to be extremely careful, hearing that this is happening makes my blood boil. The lockdown was put in place to stop these non-essential gatherings, yet people simply dismiss the rule. People were asked to stay home and only go out for essential reasons like medical appointments, food and other necessary items. On Thursday, this becomes an order. People, please stay at home. ....

Lockdown unfair to small businesses
As a non-business person, I would like to express my opinion of the shutdown of small business and the allowance of big box stores to stay open.

I feel that the large stores that sell groceries should block off any other parts of the store that sell other products to make it fair to all business.
If that is not the case, then small business should be allowed to open as long as they follow protocol. ....
