A FORMER professional footballer from Melksham has raised a massive £14,700 for the Ben Saunders Foundation to support children and young adults with cancer across the UK. Matthew Bound, 48, who now lives near Swansea, completed a marathon challenge called thebeastforben, which required him to run the same amount of miles each day as the day of the month. In all, he completed a total of 465 miles running around the roads and lanes near his home on the Gower peninsula in Glamorganshire.
