Have heard a helicopter overhead in North Charlotte this evening. Cmpd officers responded to shots being fired near poll being and white road. Police say a group of more than a dozen men were playing poker. According to investigators, one person had a gun, took it outside and began firing the shots. He then took off into the woods. Nobody was hurt. Police have since cleared the scene. No word tonight if a suspect is in custody. As we inch closer to tuesdays primary election here in north carolina, voters in big numbers took advantage of the last day of early voting. Democratic and republican president ial candidates have drawn a lot of attention.
