British MP Bob Blackman has said that the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi is ‘completely exaggerated’
The raid comes amid the uproar over a documentary about PM Modi.
"Cause & effect of raids on the BBC Office is quite obvious. GOI is brazenly hounding those who speak the truth. Be it opposition leaders, media, activists or anyone else for that matter. The gloves are off & there is a price one pays for fighting for truth," Mufti tweeted
Income Tax officials landed at the BBC office in Delhi this morning, days after a huge controversy over a documentary series on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and allegations linked to the 2002 Gujarat riots.
Talking to the media, TMC spokesperson Kunal Ghosh said that some are saying it is political vendetta but we will keep a check on the timing.
