Saline is put into the vaccine to mix it up, and once it is mixed up, the vials go over to the drawing tables where they pull up 0.3 ml for each dose. According to Pal, each vial contains about six doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and expires after six hours. At the drawing tables, volunteers draw the vaccine up into the syringes for the dosage from the vials that were labeled with the time they were reconstituted, explained the drawing table coordinator.
