Asus has announced two new thin and light laptops powered by AMD Ryzen 5000 U-series APUs the ZenBook 13 OLED UM325 and the ZenBook 14 UM425. These laptops feature largely similar specifications with the primary differences being with respect to the displays and available CPU options.
The ZenBook 13 OLED UM325 features a 13.3-inch OLED FHD NanoEdge display that covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and is VESA DisplayHDR True Black certified. The ZenBook 13 OLED offers several Ryzen 5000U APU options starting from the Ryzen 5 5500U all the way up to the Ryzen 7 5800U. The proposed legislation around benchmarking for the superannuation sector leaves no room for redemption, Rice Warner has warned the government.
The Your Future, Your Super reforms, as declared within the government’s federal budget, include super account stapling to prevent the creation of multiple accounts for members and a comparison tool for consumers called YourSuper, which will publish fund performance and expenditure.
It has also proposed that from July, APRA begin to conduct benchmarking tests on the net investment performance of MySuper products. If funds fall short of the benchmark, they will be required to notify their members after one year and if it continues to underperform after two years, they will be barred from receiving new members. ....

Nvidia announced just yesterday that laptops sporting Ampere GPUs would start at $999 while higher-end models can reach over $3000 USD. True to their word, models have already begun popping up online with the promised 3-digit price point.
Best Buy is currently accepting pre-orders for the 15.6-inch MSI GF65 equipped with the GeForce RTX 3060 GPU. The low price point is notable because last generation RTX 2060 laptops launched at higher starting prices of around $1300 or $1400 USD while lower-end GTX 1660 Ti or GTX 1650 laptops would start at the $1000 range instead. Performance-per-dollar is therefore better than expected at least for this particular model.
Of course, there are a handful of cut corners. Namely, the GF65 series is home to MSI s budget gaming laptops meaning owners will get a very plastic-y chassis with almost no luxurious features. Asus is improving its ExpertBook B9 line of professional notebooks. Even with the additions, the device will remain the world’s lightest 14-inch business laptop.
The biggest feature of the new ExpertBook B9450CEA is Intel’s vPRO technology, which brings enhanced security and improved IT management features to the laptop. Intel vPro also helps with Asus’s Two-Way AI noise-cancelling technology, a wireless feature that aims to improve signal clarity, specifically with video conferencing.
