Over the decades I have written my column for the Gazette, I have always kept in mind, “what would be Bertram Aaron’s evaluation of this?” He never failed to express his approval or disapproval. He was also a wonderful sounding board for ideas and for evaluating international events.

WILLIAMSBURG –Bertram Donald Aaron of Williamsburg died peacefully within spitting distance of 100 years on 31 December 2021 with close family by his side.
