East Lothian Crime Week kicks off with free talks at North Berwick Library by a local author and a cybercrime expert.

A weekly roundup of events happening around the Seacoast this week.

ALL of East Lothian's libraries, with the exception of Wallyford Library, will re-open their doors from tomorrow.

Fosters Daily Democrat BERWICK - The library is now open to in-person browsing. No appointment is needed, just ring the door bell. There will be a limit of seven patrons in the building at any time. Browsing is limited to 30 minutes, and computer use is limited to one hour. Masks are required for all patrons over the age of 2. Curbside service will continue to be offered. The library’s hours are: Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Thursday, 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Libraries in East Lothian’s six towns are the only ones scheduled to reopen at this stage. Both Haddington and Musselburgh libraries are gearing up to open for the first time this year and are the first branches in the county to do so. Both open at 10am on Monday and customers will be allowed to enter the buildings on a strict quota system. They will also be asked to follow a one-way route around the library.
