The City of Denver has agreed to pay $100,000 to a church camp in exchange for public access to that camp’s private road, which leads to a proposed Denver mountain park.

The city filed an eminent domain suit against Beth Eden Baptist Church in July, but has reached a six-figure settlement.

$100,000 couldn’t buy access to a short stretch of rural road, so the city’s in court.

The city was given 448 acres that it's turning into a park. It doesn't own the road leading to them.
