Four of the county’s five regional service centers will soon have new leadership, with three directors retiring soon and one already moved to a new role in County Executive Marc Elrich’s office.
County Council President Tom Hucker told reporters during a weekly briefing Monday that the retiring directors are:
Catherine Matthews, of the Sidney Kramer Upcounty Regional Services Center in Germantown. She has been director since January 2001.
Luisa Montero, of the Mid-County Regional Services Center in Wheaton. She has been director since 2015.
Reemberto Rodriguez, of the Silver Spring Regional Services Center. He has been director since July 2009.
