Hucker says departure of four regional services directors is 'big loss'

Four of the county’s five regional service centers will soon have new leadership, with three directors retiring soon and one already moved to a new role in County Executive Marc Elrich’s office. 
County Council President Tom Hucker told reporters during a weekly briefing Monday that the retiring directors are:
Catherine Matthews, of the Sidney Kramer Upcounty Regional Services Center in Germantown. She has been director since January 2001.
Luisa Montero, of the Mid-County Regional Services Center in Wheaton. She has been director since 2015.
Reemberto Rodriguez, of the Silver Spring Regional Services Center. He has been director since July 2009. ....
