The restoration of the historic Beury Building in North Philadelphia, best-known as the "Boner 4Ever" building on North Broad Street, is now underway after delays to previous redevelopment plans. The 14-story high-rise, built in 1927, will be redone as a 138-room Marriott Hotel with new restaurants and a rooftop bar. A residential building is planned for a later stage and will include a mix of affordable and market rate projects to go with community spaces. The project is led by Shift Capital and the Wankawala Organization.
