"Anger, sadness, fear," said Dr. Bich-May Nguyen, a board member with Doctors for America.
"I'm frustrated," said Dr. Christina Propst, a pediatrician with Blue Fish Pediatrics. "We are doing our part, and so it is really a painful experience that our elected officials don't trust us, don't trust our expertise and are not listening to the science."
"We will be the largest state in the country, the largest population without a mask mandate in place and that's going to put all of us at risk," said Dr. Nguyen.

More fruits and vegetables in your diet can be healthy and fun! Dr. Bich-May Nguyen in the Department of Health Systems and Population Health Sciences at the University of Houston College of Medicine discusses the benefits.
“More fruits and veggies in your diet can help you feel better and may lower the risk for heart disease, diabetes, and many cancers.”
Here are some tips to make things easier:
Look for sales. Seasonal produce is more nutritious and affordable.
Buy frozen produce without added sugar, sodium or sauces. They are nutritious and can save you time.

Readers defend the use of hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19, suggest moving the Oak Cliff cabin to Dallas Heritage Village, comment on a column on male aggression, disagree with a letter writer defending the right to worship and didn’t like the headline on Akers’ obituary.

Re: “Group of doctors urges safety,” by Drs. Bich-May Nguyen, Cedric Dark and Dona Murphey, Sunday Letters.
Drs. Nguyen, Dark and Murphey have no research publications in COVID-19. In the context of a global crisis, there can be no support for their therapeutic nihilism against hydroxychloroquine or any other component in the regimen of nutraceuticals and 4 to 6 prescription drugs used to prevent hospitalization/death.
