Three travellers from two rival gangs are jailed for more than 30 years
Members of two warring gypsy gangs have been jailed for more than 30 years after they clashed in a terrifying machete brawl in the street. The Doherty and Brent Parker families traded blows in the street during a planned fight in the village of Ryton-on-Dunsmore, Warwickshire, while armed with pick-axe handles, machetes and other weapons. A court heard that the attack, which was the culmination of an escalating feud between the rival traveller families, left one victim with his throat slashed.
