Was held at the president s estate in new jersey and was seen there with the president. so very much so inside that fold, he s got a lot of support from the broader sort of maga movement and is in fact employed by one of these organizations that supports donald trump and is working to undermine and undercut the justice department and in fact has talked about bringing in or even eliminating the fbi. so he is very much someone who is still within that broader fold and can raise those funds that way even as he sort of, you know, i think is laughed out of a lot of more serious legal circles including from a lot of donald trump appointees they just at the justice department who couldn t believe that he went down this path despite his background in education. so jeffrey clark has until friday as do all the other defendants in this case. so far only two have shown up that we know of, that means that 17 more have until friday, including donald trump, blaine, who we know says he will show up ....

no comment. thank you, sir. reporter: so i think that there is a few things here. from the time that i spent with john eastman outside of this jailhouse after he surrendered, he was in there for about 90 minutes. of course we know that his consent order came down the day before. the way blaine is explaining it is right, it almost seems like the consent order is then passed over to the jail, like passing the baton in terms of watching these folks ultimately surrendering before that friday deadline. it is a 24/7 operatio. they can come anytime. eastman of course coming this morning. and his lawyer was with him as we huddled with him outside the jail. at times trying to steer him away from reporters, trying to say, hey, maybe we don t answer so many questions. but it was telling what he would answer and what he wouldn t. you saw him there talking to me about the 2020 election. at another point he said that he hadn t talked to former president trump recently. but he didn t regret hav ....
