Norman Mailer's anthology will be published by Skyhorse - known for championing writers who have have run afoul of woke publishing houses - after Random House denied canceling deal.
The Associated Press was told on January 4, 2022 that Skyhorse Publishing will release a book of Norman Mailer's writings previously to be published by Random House.
Random House has not dropped a collection of essays by the late writer as reports have suggested – the publisher declined to make an offer on the book in the first instance
An anthology of the late Norman Mailer's writing that Random House allegedly scheduled for his centennial in 2023 but backed off from, will be released by Skyhorse Publishing.
As it has done with other controversial authors, including Blake Bailey, Skyhorse decided to publish the book after Mailer's main publisher stepped aside.
