Rembrandt is said to have created the painting of the blind Tobit, which is on sale for £24m, a year or two before his father died
The privately-owned Leiden-period oil painting by the Dutch master was restored earlier this summer.
The oil painting, circa 1628-29, has been owned by the same U.S-based private collection since 1978.
Sales were down at Frieze Masters, but some dealers were ok with that, calling the correction healthy and much needed.
