WHERE the land meets the sea, Silam Coast Conservation Area (SCCA) is one of the most fragile ecosystem for marine and coastal area in Borneo. Located in Darvel Bay, Lahad Datu which lies within the Coral Triangle and also Sulu Sea covers an area of 2,770 hectares. It comprises Tanjung Tumunong Hallu, Bangkuruan Mangrove Forest Reserves, and the two nearby Tabun and Saranga islands
