Northumberland, Pa. — A paddlewheel riverboat could soon be at the heart of the community in the Northumberland area, as a nonprofit group continues to raise funds.
NORTHUMBERLAND — The Susquehanna River is no stranger to riverboats floating along its surface. Williamsport has its paddleboat, the Hiawatha; Harrisburg, The Pride of the Susquehanna.
The nonprofit group has been trying to bring a riverboat to the West Branch of the Susquehanna River since 2016.
NORTHUMBERLAND — If all goes according to plan, locals and tourists could cruise Lake Augusta on the Susquehanna River on a paddlewheel boat by June 2025.
