My New Orleans 01/20/2021 NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic officials today announced the full slate of events for the 2021 calendar year. The newly released schedule features a combination of virtual challenges and in-person events. Notably, this year’s Crescent City Classic 10k scheduled for Sunday, April 3, will be a virtual event for the second consecutive year out of an abundance of caution for public safety during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Officials currently plan to host two in-person events in November and December of this year as city and state COVID restrictions allow. The calendar includes the inaugural virtual “Mardi Gras Parade-athon” as well three returning virtual events from 2020 – “Liberty Road Challenge” in partnership with The National WWII Museum, “Bourbon Street Barathon” in partnership with the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation and “Me Time Challenge” in partnership with Ochsner H ....
