Only Fools and Horses star John Challis' family have taken to social media to share their disappointment after his nephew's watch was stolen
John's wife Carol Challis broke the news on X, formerly known as Twitter, that her nephew Simon (pictured with his uncle) had his wristwatch stolen after he passed away in July this year.
The 36-year-old had been working for an oil drilling company in Rehden in north Germany at the time he died. Simon's father John Palmer said the cause of death remains a mystery.
The show, famous for catchphrases such as 'cushty', 'lovely jubbly' and 'plonker', starred aspiring entrepreneur Del Boy (Sir David Jason) and his younger brother Rodney (Nicholas Lyndhurst).
